Privacy Policy
AuctionMath provides browser-based auction calculators, including tools for buyer's premium confirmation, auction invoice estimates, maximum bid ceilings, seller net proceeds, and historical exchange rates. The site does not require you to create an account.
Information We Collect
We do not ask you to submit personal information to use the calculator. If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
Calculator Inputs
The amounts, percentages, bid increments, taxes, shipping costs, seller costs, and similar assumptions you enter into the buyer's premium, invoice, bid ceiling, and seller net calculators are processed locally in your browser. We do not intentionally store those calculator inputs on a server.
The historical exchange rate calculator sends the selected date, source currency, target currency, and amount to our API endpoints so the conversion can be calculated. Our endpoints request reference data from third-party data providers, including Frankfurter for currency exchange rates, and do not intentionally store those inputs beyond temporary hosting logs.
Some repeated historical exchange rate lookups may be cached in your browser so the same result can load faster. You can clear this local cache by clearing site data in your browser.
Advertising and Cookies
We may use Google AdSense or similar advertising services to display ads. Advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. These technologies may allow third parties, including Google, to place and read cookies on your browser or collect information as a result of ad serving on this site.

Analytics

The site may be hosted by a cloud hosting provider that processes requests, IP addresses, browser information, and server logs as part of delivering the site and API endpoints. API keys used to request third-party reference data are stored server-side and are not intentionally exposed in browser code.
